Al Galvez, CEO

Mr. Galvez is past executive with a Fortune 500 energy corporation and has a proven understanding of infrastructure and generation project needs. He leads Amani International with strategic business expertise and technical understanding. Mr. Galvez strategically placed Amani International headquarters in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley also known as the bread basket of the world. This has allowed Amani to keep a close eye on the trends of the agriculture market. Amani’s work on desalination projects to remove selenium from agriculture run off is a direct result of having our pulse on the needs of the agriculture industry. Additionally, Mr. Galvez’s related experience includes:

  • Decommissioning of the Humboldt Nuclear Power Plan at value of $316 million.
  • PG&E Solar Projects includes 250 MW sites of approved solar plants equal in value of $2.25 billion.
  • California High Speed Rail consulting on energy needs and power substation requirements, design and implementation. Project value of $9.2 billion.
  • American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 renewable energy and energy efficiency projects inclusive of clean transportation and solar power projects. Oversight of the support and review of project legitimacy. Projects value estimated at $4.5 billion.

Mr. Fernandez, Business Consultant

Mr. Fernandez is an entrepreneur and former administrator of a nonprofit organization. Thorough this work he has fostered global relationships, which have created opportunities to work on various projects. Mr. Fernandez has done work building relationships in the Middle East in the countries of Qatar and Saudi Arabia for the development of infrastructure projects such as Transmission and Distribution of electricity, oil & gas products and large-scale construction by forging relationships for clients through local partnerships. Currently he is seeking a Masters degree at the University of Colorado, Denver specializing in Global Energy Management. He is also completing a Certification for Importing and Exporting through the World Trade Center Denver.

Mrs. Garcia, Business Associate

Mrs. Garcia is a past executive of a leading national health organization working to save lives by providing programs and advocating for clean air, energy and environments. Mrs. Garcia brings nearly 15 years of business experience and understanding of the needs and benefits of clean energy generation, infrastructure, smart-growth/landuse, better transportation planning, and clean water solutions. Her experience has allowed her to develop relationships with a wide range of partners such as health professionals, government officials, elected officials, and industry representatives from agriculture, clean energy, environmental and transportation sectors.
